DELTA STATE THANKSGIVING DAY
LAW 2023
Section 1
1. Short title.
This Law may be cited as the Delta State Thanksgiving Day Law 2023 and shall come into
force on the date it receives assent from the Governor of Delta State.
Section 2
2. Interpretation.
(a) "Delta State Thanksgiving Day" refers to the day designated as such under Section 3 of
this Law.
Section 3
3. Designation of Delta State Thanksgiving Day.
(1) May 29th of each year is hereby designated as the Delta State Thanksgiving Day.
(2) The Delta Sate Thanksgiving Day shall be a day dedicated to the expression of
gratitude for the blessings, achievements, and resilience of the people of Delta State.
