Preliminary

DELTA STATE POLYTECHNIC BURUTU (AMENDMENT) LAW, 2024

Section 1

1. Short Title and Commencement. This Law may be cited as the Delta State Polytechnic Burutu (Amendment) Law, 2024 and shall come into force on the date it receives the assent of the Governor.

Section 2

2. Interpretation. In this Law, unless the context otherwise requires: "The Principal Law" means the Delta State Polytechnic Burutu Law, 2023.

Section 3

3. Amendment of Section 1 of the Principal Law. Section 1 of the Principal Law is amended by inserting the word "Maritime" after the word "State".

Section 4

4. Amendment of Section 2 of the Principal Law. Section 2 of the Principal Law is amended by inserting the word "Maritime" after the word "State" in the definition of the word "Polytechnic".

Section 5

5. Amendment of Section 3 of the Principal Law. Section 3 (1) of the Principal Law is amended by inserting the word "Maritime" between the words "State" and "Polytechnic".
