Appropriation Law, 2017

1. Short title and commencement. This Law may be cited as the Appropriation Law 2017 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of January, 2017.

2. Appropriation of N158,013,660,828 as Recurrent Expenditure. The sum of One Hundred and Fifty-Eight Billion, Thirteen Million, Six Hundred Sixty Thousand, Eight Hundred and Twenty-Eight Naira shall be appropriated from the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the State as Recurrent Expenditure during the year ending on the 31st day of December, 2017 for the services set out in the First Schedule of this Law.

3. Appropriation of N136,443,379,649 as Capital Expenditure. The sum of One Hundred and Thirty-Six Billion, Four Hundred and Forty-Three Million, Three Hundred and seventy-Nine Thousand. Six Hundred and Forty-Nine Naira shall be appropriated from the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the State as Capital Expenditure during the year ending on the 31st day of December, 2017 as set out in the Second Schedule to this Law.
