Appropriation Law 2008

1. Short title and Commencement. The Law may be cited as the Appropriation Law 2008 and shall be deemed to have come into force on the 1st day of January, 2008.

2. Appropriation of N71,303,823,481 as Recurrent Expenditure. The sum of Seventy-One Billion, Three Hundred and Three Million, Eight Hundred and Twenty-Three Thousand, Four Hundred and Eighty One Naira shall be appropriated from the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the State as Recurrent Expenditure during the year ending on the 31st day of December, 2008 for the services set out in the First Schedule to this Law.

3. Appropriation of N79,270,718,458 as Capital Expenditure. The sum of Seventy-Nine Billion, Two Hundred and Seventy Million, Seven Hundred and Eighteen Thousand, Four Hundred and Fifty Eight Naira shall be appropriated from the Consolidated Revenue Fund of the State as Capital Expenditure during the year ending on 31st day of December, 2008 as set out in the Second Schedule to this Law.
